Once the installation process has been successful, the system will need to be restarted to complete the
installation process. The user can choose to restart at this point, or do it at a later time. Click ‘Finish’ to
either close the window or restart the system.
Enabling Acceleration
Note:
When enabling acceleration on the Intel® Optane™ memory H Series in a mobile platform, it is required
that the system be plugged in (using AC power)

Acceleration can be enabled through the ‘Status’ page or the ‘Intel® Optane™ Memory’ page. Displayed is
the current state of the volume. Select ‘Enable’.

Under the Storage System View on the right, confirm that both the ‘fast’ media and ‘slow’
media are detected. If not, confirm that all of the requirements outlined in section 1.2 have
been met.
