INSYS Modem 336/56k 4.1 (UL)

Description

DTR Behavior
The signal

Data Terminal Ready (DTR)

on the serial interfaces indicates that the

connected device (control, PC) is switched on, connected and ready for operation.
The INSYS Modem 336/56k 4.1 (UL) may react to the device being switched off or
the cable being removed.

Echo
With the setting

Echo

the modem sends each command back via the serial inter-

face. During terminal operation, this makes it obvious which commands are en-
tered.
