INSYS ADSL 1.0 Command Reference
Command Description
ppp_dns
Display and configuration of the DNS server request
Displays or configures, whether the INSYS ADSL 1.0 requests the IP address of
the DNS server from the remote terminal.
The current setting is displayed by entering
ppp_dns
without any further parame-
ters (default = 1):
PPP DNS usage: <x>
The following is valid for
<x>
:
0 No DNS server IP address is requested
1 A DNS server IP address is requested
By entering
ppp_dns <x>
this parameter will be set to the value <x>. See above
for valid values.
Response:
PPP DNS usage set
ppp_mru
Display and configuration of the MRU
Displays the configured MRU (Maximum Receive Unit, maximum number of bytes
in a packet to be received) for PPPoA connections or configures this.
The configured MRU value is displayed by entering
ppp_mru
without any further
parameters (default = 1500):
PPP MRU: <MRU>
By entering
ppp_mru <MRU>
the MRU value will be set to <MRU>. Response:
PPP MRU set
ppp_mtu
Display and configuration of the MTU
Displays the configured MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit, maximum number of
bytes in a packet to be sent) for PPPoA connections or configures this.
The configured MTU value is displayed by entering
ppp_mtu
without any further
parameters (default = 1412):
PPP MTU: <MTU>
By entering
ppp_mtu <MTU>
the MTU value will be set to <MTU>. Response:
PPP MTU set
ppp_pass
Display and configuration of the PPP password
Displays the configured PPP password or configures it.
The configured PPP password is displayed by entering
ppp_pass
without any
further parameters (default = password):
PPP password: <password>
By entering
ppp_pass <password>
the password will be set to <password>.
Response:
PPP password set
