4.2. IP Camera WebUI Setting
After connecting the PIR sensor with your camera’s signal input, please open the
camera’s web user interface. Go to the alarm settings and activate the external alarm
input:
Our recomendation for HD cameras:
Our HD cameras allow you to combine the external alarm sensor (such as
IN-Motion 500) with the software motion detection to identify an alarm. An
alarm will be triggered when both the software motion detection and the ex-
ternal alarm sensor detects a motion. Therefore, we recommend to set in the
DIP 5 switch in “OFF” status( “OR” mode). In this case, either microwave or
PIR sensor detects a motion, and at the same time, the camera software detects
a motion, then an alarm will be triggered.

To activate NC or NO mode, you need to choose in the camera web user inter-
face acorrdingly. Below is the mode and corresponding selection
NC Mode: VGA camera = Trigger Level: Low
HD camera = Open / N.C.
NO Mode: VGA camera = Trigger Level: High
HD camera = Closed / N.O.
