quality of disc media, burning program/settings, type of CD writer ... etc.

NOTE ON PLAYING WMA SONG:
When using Microsoft Windows Media Player on a PC to encode your CD collection to hard
disc, it is recommended that you do not tick the "Copy protect music" box in the Options menu.
It is also recommended that you use Windows Media Player to burn CDs with WMA songs
purchased and download from on-line stores.  These songs are usually protected with Miscrosoft
DRM (Digital Rights Management) and will not play if written to CD using third party CD burning
software.

WMA is a compression format developed by Microsoft Corporation.  It achieves the same
