9.5 Maintenance and Cleaning

Don’t constrict or kink the rubber hose

Don’t allow liquid to come in contact with the vital signs monitor or charging
dock
•
When cleaning the monitor, only wipe the case
•
Don’t submerge or place in any type of gas or steam sterilizer
Disposable NIBP cuff should be used for only one animal, it cannot be disinfected or
be sterilised under high pressure steam.
Warning
To protect the environment, single-use blood pressure cuffs must be recycled or
properly disposed of according to local regulations.
