Your phone automatically adjusts its
transmission power based on the radio signals
received from your network operator.
When radio reception is good (4 or 5 bars on
the phone screen), the phone emits weaker
radiations: your exposure to radio waves is
reduced accordingly.
Advise your children and teenagers to use
mobile phones moderately.
Make sure they know the means to reduce
their exposure when using mobile phones.
Health effects were demonstrated on children
and teenagers because they are more
susceptible, since their bodies are under
development.
If you are wearing an electronic implant
(pacemaker, insulin pump, neuro ‐ stimulator...):
Leave a distance of at least 15 cm between the
mobile phone and the implant; always use the
mobile telephone on the side opposite to that
of the implant. You are advised to require your
doctor's recommendation since he knows well
your implant specifications.
Regulation
In Europe, 2 W/kg is the limit not to exceed for
exposure to radio waves for the head and trunk
(in France, Decree and Order of October 8,
2003).
