The first two actions will increment or reset one of four counters. As already shown
above, one of the counters (
Counter1..4
) is required as the reference item, plus a
value for either incrementing the counter by, or for resetting the counter to.
The next three actions deal with activating and deactivating Double Feed Detecti-
on (
see chapter
) and directly correspond to the three options available
there. Action
deactivate 1 df
will deactivate Double Feed Detection for the sheet
following the sheet fulfilling the specified condition.
These four actions directly correspond to the options for enabling and disabling
Imprinters (
see chapter
) . Actions with an additional 1 in their name will be
executed only once after the specified condition has been met. For all of four actions,
Imprinter Front
or
Imprinter Back
needs to be specified, as respective reference item.
These four actions are similar to the imprinter actions discussed above, however
these actions refer to enabling and disabling digital image stamps (
see chapter
). Therefore, in this case,
BatesStamp Front
or
BatesStamp Back
needs to be
specified, as respective reference item.
These actions correspond to the options available in menu Output (
see chapter
).
change tray
will switch between output trays 1 and 2. The next three actions
correspond to
Output to Tray 1
,
Current Output to Tray 1
and
Next Output to Tray 1
.
The same actions are also available for Tray 2 and the rear output tray, with
rear
corresponding to
Switch front/rear
. None of these actions require reference items.
The actions shown to the left refer to control options shown in menu
Stream Control

actions will activate color output for all following images (

), the current sheet

been met. The latter three actions are also available for grayscale and bitonal output.
Finally,

will switch back and forth between the
Default Stream

the image type specified by
Toggle to
. You will also need to specify either Front or
Rear, as the reference item, depending on whether this action refers to front or rear
pages only.
The last item on this list corresponds to the
Delete Image(s) at
function (
see chapter
) and will remove all images belonging to the current document, whenever
the specified condition is met.
4.6.8.3. Conditions
The list of conditions provided for the definition
of rules is essentially based on the list of events
(
see chapter
) available for the configuration
of functions, in scan-profiles. However, Conditions
are - to some extent - defined in combination with reference items and/or value fields..
These two items simply define every page scanned or (as a subset thereof) every
page transferred, as a condition.
This condition refers to patch code detection. The accompanying reference item is
used to specify whether the action is triggered by a specific patch code type or by
any patch code (
Any Patch
) or conversely, by the absence of patch codes (
No Patch
).
