Important instructions for the Li-ion batter

• Charge the Li-Ion battery only with the supplied accessory (charging base
and power supply)!
• Recharge the battery completely before the initial use and after a long time
of storage!
• A Li-ion battery reaches its full capacity only after 4-5 charging/discharging
cycles.
• Charge the battery always at room temperature (10° ... 30°C).
• Protect the battery against severe cold, heat and direct sunlight. Explosion
hazard in extreme cases.
• Strictly protect the battery against damage or short-circuit. Fire and explosion
hazard!

A Li-ion battery has no memory effect. I.e., the battery must not be discharged
completely before charging.
• For storing the hand lamp, the battery should be discharged to approx. 70%
of its total capacity. Then recharge the battery every 6 months.
Charging the battery:
Completely charge the batteries before your first use of the lamp. The lamp must
be charged every three months to enable long battery lifetime.
Battery charging status:
Before your first use, please do charge and discharge the batteries.
The
battery charging status can be determined by reading the battery status. If all
4 LEDs are lit, the battery is fully charged .
Emergency function:
This lamp has an emergency lighting function. In the event of a power failure,
the main lamp switches on with a 10% luminance level, thus enabling a nominal
operating time of up to 15 hours.

• The product should be kept out of the reach of children! Keep the lamp out
of reach of unauthorised persons, especially children.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may
become a dangerous toy for children.
• Make sure that the illuminants are not covered during use.
• Only use the accessories included with the product for recharging your
rechargeable workshop lamp.
• The product shall not be operated under adverse circumstances such as:
Temperatures above 45°C, inflammable gas, solvents, vapors, dust.
• If there can be assumed that operation of the unit under safe circumstances
is no longer possible, unplug the unit immediately and make sure that it is not
put into operation inadvertently. Safe operation can no longer be assumed if
the device no longer functions, shows visible damage, if it is damaged during
transport, after storage under unfavourable conditions.
• Service and repairs must be conducted by authorized personnel only.
• Always check the mains cable before you use the charger. If the mains cable
is damaged, replace the charger.
Product description
The Inostar Pro 1000 manual emergency light with emergency light function.
In the event of a power failure, the main lamp switches on at an output of
10%, thus enabling a nominal operating time of up to 15 hours. The manual
emergency light can be operated at 10%, 50% or 100% luminance level. Latest
LED technology with a service life of 30’000h. 10W high power LED with 1000lm
luminous flux for the main light and a 3W/200lm high power LED as torch. The
lithium-ion battery ensures a long service life. The luminaire has an impact-
resistant IP54 plastic housing and is operated in protection class III. The base
with 2 extremely strong power magnets locks in the position 0°, 45° or 90°. The
extendable hook can be rotated 360° and submersed. The two-colour LED charge
status indicator, the overcharge protection and the low self-discharge ensure
optimum operational standby of the luminaire. Charging adapter suitable for
installation or wall mounting. Power supply unit with 1m long USB cable for
charging the hand emergency light.
