Remove r etaining pin.
Pass lifeline cable or winch
through one of the pullies on the
end of the davit arm. Make sure
the cable or cord has securely
been threaded through and that it
is firmly in place.
B.
Replace r etaining pin.

A.
Remove locking pin fr om its place in the
center of the davit arm.
B.
Extend davit arm to desired length and lock
with pin.
IMPORTANT:
In the event that a handling/positioning hoist is required, this option is offered to you
with the addition of an adaptor located at the bottom of the davit arm. Installation steps 10, 11, and 12
for the safety line/hoist will need to be repeated. If you have questions regarding the use, maintenance

To install a second handling hoist or safety line, the following steps must be followed by
using the A2237-06 handling hoist removable support.
