7. CLEANING AND CARE
7.1. AIR FILTER CLEANING (every two weeks)
Dust builds up on the filter and restricts the air flow. Restricted airflow reduces the efficiency of the system and if it
becomes blocked it can cause damage to the unit.
The air filter requires regular cleaning. The air filter is removable for easy cleaning. Do not use the unit without an
air filter, otherwise the device may be contaminated.
1. Press the POWER button to turn off the unit and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the filter net from the unit.
3. Use a vacuum cleaner to suck the dust from the filter.
4. Turn the filter upside down and rinse it under running water. Let the water flow through the filter in the
opposite direction to the air flow. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling it.
7.2. MAINTENANCE OF THE REFRIGERANT
General measures:
1. This operation must be performed only by highly qualified personnel.
2. It is a gas that is heavier than air. It can accumulate in confined spaces, particularly at or below ground level.
3. Eliminate all possible sources of ignition.
4. Use adequate personal protective equipment (PPE).
5. Evacuate unnecessary personnel, isolate and ventilate the area.
6. Do not get in eyes, skin or clothing. Do not breathe or ingest.
7. Prevent spillage into public sewers and water networks.
8. Consider using water spray to disperse vapors and check release spaces are safe.
9. Isolate the area until the gas has dispersed. Aerate and ventilate the area before entering. Contact the competent
authorities after a spill.
