Making a call
Before you can make a call, the full circle symbol and the word SAT
must be displayed on the LCD, as shown below:
To make a call:
1. Lift the telephone receiver. Please Dial displays on the terminal’s LCD.
2. Dial the number. You must always use the international format
when making a call: 00<Country code><Area code minus leading
zero><Phone number>
For example, to call the number 44 20 7123 4567, enter
00442071234567
3. The dialled number displays on the LCD for approximately
10 seconds, then Calling displays followed by Connecting .
Important: You can hear a progress tone when the LCD displays
Calling , but this tone ends when the LCD displays Connecting .
4. When the call is answered, the LCD displays Call In Progress
and a call timer displays the call duration.
5. When you replace the receiver, the LCD displays the full circle
symbol and the word SAT .
Receiving a call
The full circle symbol and the word SAT must be displayed before
you can receive a call, as shown below:
