A defective lamp must be disposed as electronic 

scrap, it must not get into domestic waste.

Any repairs that become necessary must be performed 

by a qualified electrician. If the external power lead becomes 

damaged, it may only be replaced by Ingo Maurer GmbH.

In case of damage caused by disregarding these operating 

instructions, improper commissioning and/or construction

change, e.g. due to foreign components, handling 

or external interference, the warranty claim is void.

Caution:

 Never pull or lift the lamp by the moveable 

metal arm! 

Important:

 Do not connect the lamp to the power sup-

ply until the setup is completed.

Adjustment

Caution:

 The shade heats up quickly. Allow it to cool down 

completely before touching it! 

The direction of the light is adjusted via the flexible metal 

arm as shown in fig.

 

 

Bend the arm into the required shape and position.

Important:

 Please ensure that the shade does not come 

into direct contact with books, plastics or flammable materials. 

Cleaning

 

The protective glass cover can be cleaned as required with an 

ordinary household glass cleaner. Use a damp cloth for the alu-

minium parts.

be exchanged by the user. 
The light sources and the Power supply can be replaced by 
Ingo Maurer GmbH, a by Ingo Maurer authorized service 
technician or a similar qualified person. 
According to the manufacturer, LEDs of this class have an 
average life of at least 25 000 hours.
