Creating an Account with Trane Pivot Mobile
App
The Trane Pivot Mobile App will be used to create an account, add
thermostats and add new users to the account. An account will allow you to
view:
• D Da assh hb bo oa arrd d which includes Schedules, Setpoints, and Run Time History
• E Ev ve en nttss h hiisstto orry y; history listing can be filtered
• A Alle errttss; to define and customize who should receive TEXT or EMAIL
system alerts, and which alerts each user should receive.
Creating a Trane Pivot Account
1. To create a Trane Pivot account, first go to the App Store for IOS or
Google Play Store for Android and download the Trane Pivot mobile app
to your smart phone.
2. Tap the S Siig gn n U Up p N No ow w button in the App, and fill out all the information.
3. Enter a 4-digit PIN (You will have the option of 4, 6, 8, or 10 digits)
4. You will land on the M My y B Bu uiilld diin ng g screen which is the dashboard.
5. This account will be considered the account owner.
Adding a Thermostat to the Account
1. Use the Trane Pivot app on your smart phone.
2. On the M My y B Bu uiilld diin ng g screen, tap on the menu drop down icon, then tap

3. The E En nrro ollll P Piiv vo ott T Th he errm mo osstta att screen appears. Tap the C Co on nttiin nu ue e button.
This generates a 5-digit code and starts a 10-minute timer.
4. On the Pivot Thermostat, go to M Me en nu u > > P Piiv vo ott R Re eg giissttrra attiio on n and enter the
5-digit code and tap N Ne ex xtt.
5. The Pivot thermostat will be enrolled/registered in the account in about a
minute.
6. Repeat the process for any additional thermostats.
