Installing the ColorSync™ profile
ColorSync profile makes it possible for the printer to print colors of similar in-
tensity to those on the computer display. Follow the procedures below to install
ColorSync profile.
Note

ColorSync profile complies to color standards as defined by the International
Color Consortium (ICC).

Some computer displays may require particular settings to be compatible
with ColorSync. See the documentation that comes with your display for
more information.

Start the Macintosh.

Double-click the hard disk icon, and then open the appropriate folder for
installing the ColorSync profile.
Note

The location of the appropriate folder may differ depending on the version
of the operating system. These are examples:
• System\Preferences\ColorSync profiles
• System\ColorSync profiles
CCCC
Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the CD-ROM icon.

Double-click the

Mac OS 8 and 9

folder.

Double-click the
[
ColorSync Profiles
]
folder.

Drag the file to the

ColorSync Profiles
]
folder on the hard disk.
The ColorSync profile is installed.
