User Guide
This surge protector is designed to protect Internet triple play modems or Tél/fax devices.
The French outlet can power your hardware, and its two RJ 11/45 ports can prevent
surges due to lightning, including on the telephone line.
Safety instructions
Please read all the instructions before setting up the
S1 LAN
.
It must be installed indoors in a safe location where the temperature and humidity do not
exceed the limits stipulated in the specifications section.
In addition to this type 3 surge suppressor, the NFC 15-100 standard in France requires
the installation of a type 2 (or 1) modular surge protector at the origin of your electrical
system in the departments where the lightning intensity is greater than 25 (number of
thunderstorm days per year).

Installation
Connect the
S1 LAN
into a grounded 2-pin wall outlet (2P + E - 10 A).
Turn the master power switch to the "ON" position.
Plug your equipment to be protect into the outlet of the
S1 LAN
The
S1 LAN
, with its two RJ11/45, is equipped to protect the phone/fax/modem line.
Plug the line input into one socket and use another cable for the other socket
connection to the telephone/fax/modem.
If there is a problem, do not disassemble the S1 LAN, there are no reparable parts
inside. Please contact the After-Sales Service (Hotline).
Legend of the scheme

Protection of equipment connected to the Internet
The S1 LAN, with its two RJ 11/45 ports, protects hardware connected to the
Internet against overvoltage.

Protection indicator
Green "Protected" light on: the equipment is protected against overvoltage and
lightning.
Green "Protected" light off: no protection.
3 >
Grounding indicator
Red "Grounded" light on: the outlet is grounded.
Red "Grounded" off: the outlet is not grounded.
