10.5 CPM Configuration Monitor
The
Configuration Monitor
allows experimentation to determine the combination
of data acquisition parameters that provide the most appropriate runs. Data
acquisition parameters can be changed and the effect of the change is displayed.
NOTE:
The CPM
Configuration Monitor
window is different from the open ion
source instruments’
Sensor
window because of the pumping and inlet
systems on the CPM.

Pump down the system.

Click
Pump Down (inlets closed)
to start the foreline and turbo pumps
and open the foreline valve. Select
Pump Down (inlets open)
if there is
an additional isolation valve in front of the Hexblock and the volume
between the isolation valve and the Hexblock needs to be pumped down.
