Display

This tab allows you to configure the Display settings for the encoder.

Resolution

— Select the Resolution for the Display from the drop-down.

Transparency

— Use the slider to select the transparency level for Display overlays.

Original Rate

— Display the original image frame rate as a Display overlay.

Time Display

— Display the time as a Display overlay.

Channel Display

— Display the channel number as a Display overlay.

IVS Rule Preview

— Display a preview of the IVS Rules as a Display overlay.

Click

Refresh

to undo the changes you have made in this page.

Click

Default

to restore all fields in the page to their default settings.

Click

Save

to apply any changes you have made.

Tour

This tab allows you to enable and configure the Tour function settings for the encoder,
showing a sequence of Channels in configurable Views.

Enable

— Select the checkbox to enable the Tour function.

Interval

— Enter the interval in seconds to leave between Views in the configured

sequence.

Split

— Select the number of Channels which are to be shown in each View from the

drop-down.

Use the panel below the drop-down to configure the Views. You can add, remove and
adjust the order of the Views in the sequence using the buttons to the right of the panel.

Select the checkboxes to include or exclude a View in the sequence, or the

Channel

Group

checkbox for all Views.

Video Detect

— Select the configured View to be shown when a Video Detection

event is triggered.

Alarm

— Select the configured View to be shown when an Alarm is triggered.

Click

Refresh

to undo the changes you have made in this page.

Click

Default

to restore all fields in the page to their default settings.

Click

Save

to apply any changes you have made.

Zero-Channel

This tab allows you to configure the Zero-Channel encoding settings for the encoder.

Compression

— Select the video encoding standard to be used.

Resolution

— Select the resolution of the video stream.

Frame Rate

— Select how often the video stream is updated.

Bitrate

— Select the bitrate for video streams. Range 896-4096 Kbps.

to undo the changes you have made in this page.

Click

Default

to restore all fields in the page to their default settings.

Click

Save

to apply any changes you have made.

PTZ

Use this page to configure the control settings for PTZ cameras connected to the BX 8/16
Channel Encoder.

Channel

— Select the required Channel from the drop-down to configure the PTZ

settings.
