4.   See that the Rotor freely slides over the Motor shaft.
5.  Adjust the washers P. N:83, 85 such that a distance B of about 1.5 mm. is achieved (see sketch

3)

6.   Check the air gap between rotor and stator packet to be uniform to 0.2 +0.05 mm. keep the

nyloc nut (P. N. 89) in fully tightened condition.

7.   Adjustment by nyloc nut (P.N.89) If it is found that the hoist does not lift the load satisfactorily,

then open the nut by 1/2 to 3/4 turn. You will find the hoist will start working all right.

CAUTION

The adjustment by nut only has to be very carefully done, Further loosening of the nut will reduce

the running gap between rotor and stator of motor to such an extent that rotor will start fouling

the stator causing damage to motor ultimately.
Spares :  1)   Paris with ‘mark are subject to high wear and tear and it is advised to keep them In

stock

2)  While ordering spares, please mention the hoist and motor numbers, date of supply,

lilt and  capacity of the unit.
