Handling the remote controller

Use the remote controller within a distance of 26 feet (8 meters) from the air conditioner, pointing it towards

the receiver (located on the front of the unit, towards the top).  Proper reception is confirmed with a beep.

Replacing batteries

The remote controller is powered by two AAA (LR-03) batteries housed in the rear section and protected by a cover.

1.

The remote ships with the batteries in a separate package. Insert them before attempting to use for the first

time.

2.

Remove the cover by pressing and sliding off.

3.

Insert the batteries being sure to have the (+) and (-) ends in their respective places.

NOTE: When the batteries are removed, the remote controller erases all programming.  After inserting new

batteries, the controller must be reprogrammed.
