Carefully review all of these specifications and warnings BEFORE operating your dehumidifier unit. Failure to do 

so may cause damage, injury, or bodily harm including permanent disability and/or death.

ELECTRICAL INFORMATION

• 

Be sure your electrical wiring is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found 

on the rating label, a silver sticker located on the back of the unit.

• 

Be sure the dehumidifier is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is 

important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock 

hazards.

• 

Your dehumidifier must be connected to a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you 

intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a quali

fied electrician install the proper receptacle.

• 

Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation.


