Chapter 2: Installation and Removal
Audio Tracking Pairs
Selected audio and video NEO modules are designed to connect to each
other in
audio tracking pairs . This feature provides audio-to-video
synchronization and delay with tracking capability. External
connections are not required for this feature.
A DES-3901-S or DNS-3901-S module can be used as part of an audio
tracking pair. To use this feature, install the DES-3901-S or
DNS-3901-S video module directly above the audio module.
Alternately, install the decoder at the bottom of column one in the
frame, with the audio module at the top of column two.
The audio-tracking pairs feature can be enabled or disabled. See
DnBusEn (down bus enable) in the “Operator and All List Parameters”
on page 31 , or the “Tree View Parameters” on page 55 .
The following table lists the audio tracking pairs in which the
DES-3901-S or DNS-3901-S can be used. Use this table to help plan
where to install your various NEO decoders.
