  Plug the power cable into a standard  

  three pin wall socket and switch the  
  power on at the wall. 

  The display will illuminate to read 00.00

Note:

You may need to reposition the aerial for 
optimum reception. The best position is 
dependent on the station and the strength  
of the signal.
