Setting Up Your Camera
Pre-Installation Checklist & Initial Camera Settings
1.
Insert a fully charged camera battery.
2.
Insert a properly formatted memory card.
3.
Set Metering to “Center-weighted”.
4.
In Flash Menu: Set Firing Mode to TTL. When a non-Ikelite strobe
is used, the firing mode will automatically switch to “Manual” after
the strobe has been attached and turned on.
Set Flash Mode to “ .”

Set Red-Eye Removal to “OFF.”
6.
Set Eye Sensor AF to “OFF.”
7.
Set AF Assist Lamp to “OFF.”
8.
Set Auto Review Duration Time to “5SEC.”
9.
Set Eye Sensor LVF/Monitor Switch to “Mon.”
10.
In Touch Settings, set Touch Screen to “Off.”
11.
In Economy, set Sleep Mode and Auto/LVF/Monitor OFF to “5min.”
12.
Set AF Mode to “Custom Multi or 1-Area.”
13.
Set ISO to 200.
Settings not mentioned should be set to the user’s preference.
Setting Up Your Housing
Opening the Housing
1.
Push the lid snap lock forward and start to lift the curved end away
from the housing.
