SEXTA
Receiver Instructions
Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the 6-channel FM receiver SEXTA from IKARUS.
Features
The receiver is equipped with the features TSR, DSP, HOLD and FS.
TSR:
Transmitter Signature Recognition (recognizing the transmitter features)
When switching on the receiver for the first time, it will recognize and save the typical features of your transmitter
(modulation type, number of channels, impulse and frame impulse frequency). Each time you switch on the receiver
it will update the saved signals.
DSP:
Digital Signal Processing
Micro processor decoder with adaptive algorithms based on signal amplitude/ received signal noise ratio. The micro
processor includes a filter system.
HOLD:
In case the receiver briefly looses the incoming signal, incorrect signals are being bridged, i.e. the latest
correct signal will be maintained. As soon as the connection to the transmitter is being reestablished, the control
impulses are
correctly used again.
FS:
Fail-Safe (Safety feature during interferences)
As soon as the HOLD condition is in effect for about 2 seconds the Fail Safe feature will move all servos to a pre-
programmed position. These positions are user programmable as described under “Programming”. As soon as the
connection to the transmitter is reestablished, the control impulses are correctly used again. Should you decide for the
FS mode, this step needs to be considered and planned carefully!
The receiver operates with standard crystals.
Operation
IMPORTANT! PAY ATTENTION:
1.
Switch on the transmitter first, than the receiver.
2.
Switch off the receiver first, than the transmitter
