Correct use
the standards and technical specifications. Therefore the device cor-
responds to the state of art and permits maximum safety during ope-
ration.
The safety can however only be realized in operational practice if all
the required measures are taken into consideration. The operator of
the stand is obliged to plan such measures and implement the same.
The stand should be operated when it is in perfect functional condi-
tion and the functions of the safety features are examined regularly.
Operating instructions should be always available in full wherever
the stand is used.
All safety notices and warning signs attached to the stand itself must
remain in the position intended and must always be clearly legible.
When lowering the seating plate with the device and tool keep un-
authorized personnel out of bounds and make sure no persons are
in the danger area.

The R 4765 FLOOR STAND COMPLETE is a combination of
IKA
®
T 65
ULTRA- TURRAX
®
dispersion units or
IKA
®
RW 47 agitator units with
stand. The stand is used for motorized lifting and lowering of the moun-
ted device.

The safety of the user cannot be guaranteed if the appliance is ope-
rated with accessories that are not supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer or if the appliance is operated improperly contrary to
the manufacturer’s specifications or if the appliance is modified by
third parties.
The machine has been designed and built taking safety/ hazard ana-
lysis into consideration, and all parts are selected in accordance with

Read the operating instructions completely before
starting up and follow the safety instructions.
• When using the stand to its intended use according to the instruc-
tions, there is no risk involved. However by over loading or faulty
fixing, risks may occur, which are not considered by the manu-
facturer. It is mandatory that when working with the stand, the
operator should follow the instructions.
• Keep the operating instructions in a place where they can be ac-
cessed by everyone.
• Assembly, connection, commissioning as well as maintenance and
repair work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Follow the safety instructions, guidelines, occupational health and
safety and accident prevention regulations.
• Set up the stand in a spacious area on an even, stable, clean, non-
slip, dry and fireproof surface.
• The castors must be clean and undamaged.
DANGER
Due to danger of tilting, please only
move in lowered position.
• Position the vessel centrical to the agitation or dispersion tool in
use.
• Only switch ON the unit when the tool (agitator or dispersion unit)
is in the vessel.
• Switch the unit off before moving the stand upwards.
Danger of crushing! When moving the stand, take
care that no parts of the body get into the wor-
king area.
•
All other operating instructions concerning the devices operated
by the stand must be observed.
• It is not allowed to use the device under explosive environments.
• Only genuine
IKA
®
spare parts should be used for repair and main-
tenance.
• The permissible operating temperatures as well as permissible ope-
rating data of the machine should not be exceeded.
• The sliding surfaces must always be cleaned from dirt and dust
deposits.
• The designated use of the stand must not be altered.
• Machine parts are not allowed to be modified or removed.
• During stirring/dispersing operation castors must be locked.
There is a risk of crushing fingers while lifting and
lowering! Make sure fingers are away from the
brackets of the column.
• Observe the safety instructions for the dispersing or stirring ma-
chine. These safety instructions are included in the corresponding
operating instructions.
DANGER
Ensure correct shaft rotation during
the operation of RW47/T65, as indica-
ted in the operating instructions. Ple-
ase never stand under the load.
When working with stands, pay atten-
tion that nobody is in the extended
danger area when the load is lifting.
WARNING
Never put overweight load on the
stand, see section "Technical data" for
the maximum load.
• Check the appliance and accessories beforehand for damage each
time you use them. Do not use damaged components.
• Protect the appliance and accessories from bumps and impacts.
• Only qualified personnel are allowed to open the control box.
