Menu function - calls up the main menu
of options to control ways the Apollo 360
operates. This function also controls the
way navigation information shows on the
display.
Nearest function - Calls up a list of up to
30 waypoints nearest to your present
position, and allows you to obtain
information about any of them.
New waypoint function - creates
waypoints and stores them in memory.
Created waypoints can be based upon
y o u r p r e s e n t p o s i t i o n , o r l a t / l o n
coordinates you enter.
Waypoint information function - calls
up information from the Apollo 360’s
built-in waypoint database. You can also
access information about waypoints you
have created. Information includes the
waypoint identifier and type, waypoint
bearing and distance from your current
position, waypoint lat/lon coordinates,
and more.
LCD backlight - controls whether or not
the backlight is on, and the backlight
intensity level.
The next section explains the start up procedures for the
Apollo 360. Once the start up tasks are completed, the unit
is ready to use to assist you in navigating your trip.
