Speed Controls
The Ignite Mini has several methods for controlling speed; the High and Low Speed Modes, the Min/Max Speed Limiter and
the Throttle Levers.
7.5.1.1
High and Low Speed Modes
The high (“H”) and low (“L”) speed modes are controlled by the right-hand dial on the tiller.
The two settings place the scooter in either a 4mph or 8mph mode. These modes
correspond to the “pavement” and “road” speeds that are determined by the UK
government. “H” setting is 8mph and for road use only. “L” setting is for 4mph and for
pavement use only.
When using the pavement in the UK, the 4mph mode should be engaged to prevent the
Ignite Mini from moving too fast. On the road the 8mph setting should be engaged.
7.5.1.2
Max Speed Limiter
The left-hand dial controls the speed at which you would like the scooter to travel or
matching your speed to someone walking. This function is particularly useful when
operating the scooter in tight areas.
Turn the dial clockwise to go faster and counterclockwise to move slowly.
