Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
The iron does not work.
1. Not properly plugged into the
mains wall socket.
2. No electricity in the mains wall
socket.
1. Plug in firmly.
2. Check fuse or breaker.
The iron leaks and there is not
much steam produced.
1. The thermostat is set too low.
2. The water tank is too full.
3. The water in your area is hard
and has caused a mineral
deposit build up in the iron.
1. Turn the thermostat to a higher
setting.
2. Empty some water out of the
water tank.
3. Follow the ‘Care and Cleaning’
section to remove deposits and
consider using de-mineralized
water.
The iron does not remove creases.
1. Temperature is set too low for
the type of fabric you are
ironing.
2. The material is too dry to be
ironed.
1. Turn up the thermostat slightly
until the iron removes the
creases. Do not set the iron
temperature higher than what
is advised on the garment.
2. Use the spray button to
dampen the crease.
