6. Connection and start-up
Voltage supply and programming
The voltage supply for the evaluation
units is connected to plug C1 (see the fig-
ure on page 18), V+ and
.
Insulation from the mains must be
ensured in accordance with the respective
standards. A safe separation is not
required.
If a power supply with safe separation is
used, this power supply may simultane-
ously supply other equipment which
requires no supply with safe separation.
Equipment which requires a supply with safe separation must not be
supplied simultaneously with the evaluation unit.
Depending on the number of the con-
nected safety switches programming is
required.
