Wash the Front Grille, Back Grille, Fan Blade and Guard Mounting Nut with warm water &

dish-washing agent. Rinse them thoroughly under running water. It is recommended NOT to

wash the Blade Cap as the internal metal threads should not have contact with water. Clean

the Main Body, Base, ON/OFF & Speed Control Knob and the Blade Cap with a damp cloth.

Immediately wipe dry all components with a soft, dry cloth.

DO NOT use a scrubbing brush.

DO NOT use any of the following agents as a cleaner: gasoline, thinners or benzene.

Never run water over the appliance (especially the Main Body, ON/OFF & Speed Control Knob,

Blade Cap, etc.) as malfunctions may occur if water seeps inside the appliance.

Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt around the Motor periodically, based on the frequency

of use and the air quality of the environment.

Fit the Back Grille through the Motor Shaft onto the Main Body.

Fit the Guard Mounting Nut onto the Motor Shaft by turning clockwise until the Back Grille

is mounted securely onto the Main Body.

Insert the Blade Hole of the Fan Blade onto the Motor Shaft.

Note: The Blade Hole of the Fan Blade has a flat protrusion that has to be aligned with the

flat notch on of the Motor Shaft. Only by aligning the two will the Fan Blade insert fully into

the Motor Shaft. Normally it takes some trial and error.

Fit the Blade Cap onto the Motor Shaft sticking out of the Blade Hole of the Fan Blade.

Tighten the Blade Cap by turning anti-clockwise.

Ensure that the Blade Cap is tightened firmly to avoid noisy fan operations or personal injury.

Dust (including smoke residue, hair, fur/feathers from pets, fibres from clothes,

towels, curtains and carpets, etc.) can collect on the Grills, Fan blades and around

the Motor. If not removed, it can build-up over months or years.

During normal operation, the Motor will become hot and this is normal. If not

removed, dust can be a fire hazard.
