2.1. Connecting the Reader
The IER 600 Reader switches automatically to the
available AC power within the authorized voltage
ranges, i.e. 100-120Vac-60 Hz or 200-240Vac-50 Hz.
To connect the reader, proceed as follows:
1) Connect the AC power connector to the low voltage input (4)
2) Choose among the ports below to connect the reader to the data
communications system (PC, network):
RS232 (6) serial ports
USB host (5) and USB device (1) ports
Ethernet (2) network port
3) Connect the AC power connector to the AC power source.
