Operating Faults
Operating faults usually generate an error message on the display and/or
may cause a paper jam inside the printer.
IMPORTANT:
1) List of Error Messages
a) Error Messages Addressed to the Systems Engineer
The messages not listed below concern the systems engineer or
the Help Desk.
b) Messages Intended for the Operator

Means that the printer is ready,
but not connected to the host.
Check the printer to host
connection.

Means that a ribbon cartridge
has been detected, whereas the
printer is configured to operate in
the direct thermal mode.
Change the configuration before or
after removing the cartridge.

Means that no ribbon cartridge
has been detected, whereas the
printer is configured to operate in
the thermal transfer mode.
Change the configuration before or
after installing the cartridge.

key or the Esc key to confirm.
