GUIDE CHANNELS AND BAR PUSHER

The choice of the guide channels and of the bar pusher must be made according to the
diameter of the bar to be machined. The bar feeder is usually supplied with a bar pusher whose
diameter is equal to the maximum bar passage of the lathe. Sometimes, in order to ensure the
best working conditions, it may be necessary to use a bar pusher with a smaller diameter.
