Use the SATA Controller(s) option to enable or disable the serial ATA controller.

Enabled D
EFAULT
Enables the on-board SATA controller.

Disabled Disables the on-board SATA controller.

SATA Mode Selection [IDE]
Use the SATA Mode Selection option to configure SATA devices as normal IDE devices.

IDE D
EFAULT
Configures SATA devices as normal IDE device.

AHCI Configures SATA devices as AHCI device.
