Step 2:
Slide the top cover towards the I/O panel until it is disengaged from the locking
mechanism. Then, lift the top cover off the chassis. See
Figure 3-6: Remove the Top Cover
3.6 M.2 Module Installation (Optional)
The two M.2 slots allow installation of M.2 2280 M-key cards and M.2 3042 B-key cards.
To install an M.2 card, please follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Remove the top cover. See Section 3.5 above.
Step 2:
Locate the M.2 slot as shown in Figure 3-7.
