Cable 

The VP6800 uses a serial port to USB +RS-232+RS-232 cable. The cable connectors follow the 
schematic illustrated below. 

 

 

 
Note:

 For development purposes, ID TECH can supply a serial port interface cable that supports RS-

232 or USB. If you wish to develop your own cable, ID TECH uses a JST PADP-12v-1-S housing with 
JST-SPH-002T-P0.5L crimp terminals. See the schematic above for pin outs.
