UPC/EAN Prefix Combination
Supplementary are appended characters for UPC / EAN
format barcodes. ID TECH provides a function allow users to
configure the output data with or without supplementary by
prefix combination.
If you select the defined combination prefix, the scanner
decodes the barcodes with supplement. Be sure the
supplements digits ( 2 digits or 5 digits ) are enabled and the
user may enable
auto-discrimination
then scan the needed
combination prefix. The barcode will not be read when
supplementary is not found. If barcodes prefix is different
then the combination as defined, the barcode is transmitted
with no supplement.
