8 Advanced Features

This chapter covers useful features included in the HDC.

8.1 Downconversion

The HDC can downconvert 4K input video into 2K format and output through OUT1.
By default, the downconversion is set to “FOLLOW SINK EDID” that downconverts 4K signal into 2K
automatically if the connected sink device support only up to 2K format.
