Getting Started 

 

3.1  iDevices Connected App 

 

 
The iDevices Connected app provides all of the functionality and customization 
you’ll  need  to  get  the  most  out  of  your  Kitchen  Thermometer.  The  iDevices 
Connected app is compatible with the following devices: 
 

 

iPad (mini, 3

rd

 & 4

th

 gen) 

 

iPhone (4s, 5, 5c, & 5s) 

 

iPod touch (5

th

 gen)

 to download the free iDevices Connected app. 

Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll have access to links for instructional 
videos, step-by-step instructions and FAQ’s for troubleshooting 

 

3.2  Batteries 

 

To replace the Kitchen Thermometer batteries, follow these steps: 
 

 

Separate  the  Kitchen  Thermometer  from  its  base  by  holding  the  base 
with  one  hand  and  gently  pulling  the  Kitchen  Thermometer  upwards 
with the other hand.  

 

On the underside of the Kitchen Thermometer, depress and remove the 
battery  door.  Replace  the  batteries  with  two  AA  batteries  with  their 
negative  terminals  each  compressing  a  spring  and  reinstall  the  battery 
door. 

 

3.3  Powering On & Off 

 
 

To turn on the Kitchen Thermometer, follow these steps: 

 

 

Turn on the Kitchen Thermometer by pressing the power button located 
at the bottom of the faceplate between the < and > buttons. 

 

The Kitchen Thermometer’s 7-segment display will animate and a single 
beep will be heard, indicating it has powered on.
