11 General Information for Wireless Operation
Wireless transmission is realised on a non-exclusive transmission path (2.4 GHZ),
which means that interference cannot be avoided. Further disturbing interferences may
be caused by switching operations, electric motors or defective electrical devices. The
range in buildings may vary greatly from open areas. In addition to the transmission
power and the reception characteristics of the receivers, environmental factors such as
air humidity, as well as local structural conditions, play an important role.
