9 Restore Factory Settings
Factory settings of the device can be restored. When doing so, all settings of the
device will be lost. Data in the idevices cloud are not affected.
To restore to factory settings of the idevices Air Quality Sensor, proceed as follows:
1. Connect the idevices Air Quality Sensor to the power supply system by using
the supplied AC adapter and USB cable.
2. Press the reset button of the device with a pointed, non-conductive object
until the sensor pulses blue (approximately 8 seconds). Do not use conductive
objects, such as metal objects, to press the reset button.
3. Now the factory settings have been restored.
10 Maintenance and Cleaning
The device contains no user-serviceable parts. Clean the device with a soft, clean, dry,
lint-free cloth. To remove excess dirt, wipe the cloth lightly with hand-hot warm water.
Do not use solvent-based cleaning detergents. Otherwise, the plastic housing and the
lettering can be damaged.
