TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

WARNING

 

The power adaptor allows you to disconnect the device.  The power source 

should be close to the device and easy to access. Switch off the handset where 

mobile use is prohibited or when it may cause disturbance or danger. 

Never use the telephone while driving. Switch off on aeroplanes, in hospitals or 

near medical equipment, in petrol stations and other areas near explosive goods.  

Do not use batteries of different capacity to the original batteries,

do not immerse the handset or any of its components in water and do not 

expose them to fire or extreme temperatures.  Waste material generated when 

the device and its components are discarded should be treated in accordance 

with regulations in force and not like normal waste.  When you wish to discard 

the handset or its components, take them to your nearest electrical/electronic 

waste management centre.

IMPORTANT: Switch off the handset and disconnect the charger before 

removing the battery cover.
INSTALLING THE FLASH MEMORY CARD: 

Take off the back cover of the IM200 

and remove the battery. Insert the memory card in the slot underneath

the SIM card compartment and ensure that the metal contacts on the card are 

facing downwards. Please take care not to scratch or bend the metal contacts on 

the card. 

The Flash memory card is used as storage for the telephone. You can copy files 

onto the card when you connect to a computer via USB. 

Take off the back cover of the IM200 and remove the battery.

INSTALACIÓN

When you press the Menu key, the first option you will see is CONTACTS. 

1.SEARCH 

Under this option, once you have saved contacts, press 

SEARCH

 to quickly 

locate a contact using the first letter of their name. 

2.ADD NEW CONTACT

You can add a new contact to the SIM (card) or the handset and press Accept 

to confirm.

1.Insert contact name and number. 

2.Where you choose to save the contact on the telephone, you will also be able 

to assign an image and ringtone to that contact. The image can be taken from a 

file or from the camera itself.  To select the image location 

use the * and # keys to scroll to the right and left.

Select the desired location and press 

Option

 to choose.  

3.You can keep the default ringtone or choose a new one. The ringtone can be 

selected from a file or from pre-set handset ringtones. Use the * and # keys to 

scroll right and left respectively to select the location of the Ringtone. Select the 

desired location and press 

Option

 to choose

4. Press Option to save.

CONTACTS

Press Menu and scroll to SETTINGS

1.SOS

STATUS: You can select the status (on/off). The status must be “on” to work 

properly.

SOS NUMBER: Set up the numbers that the SOS button will dial when pressed.  

These calls will be made in the order in which the telephone numbers are 

inserted. 

SOS STATUS: Set up the status of the SOS message (activated or deactivated), 

to be sent to the pre-inserted numbers. 

SOS SMS: Insert the text of the SMS to be sent to the pre-inserted numbers. 

If the function is on, when you press the SOS button on the back of the device, the 

telephone will emit an emergency tone and will call the five pre-saved numbers. 

Warning!

The SOS function must be activated prior to use. Occasionally interference 

from other sources (Internet, environment etc.) may mean that the SOS 

function is not available.

2.TELEPHONE

DATE AND TIME: Select the Time Zone, Date and Time and the Format in which 

you would like date and time to be displayed.  You can also choose whether you 

would like the time to update automatically with the time zone. 

LANGUAGE:  Press Accept and use the up/down keys to select the language you 

want. 

DEFAULT INPUT METHOD:  Press Accept and uses the up/down keys to select 

the default text input method.

SCREEN: In this menu you can change the system wallpaper and personalise it. 

3.PROFILES

Scroll to select available modes 

General/Silent/Conference/Outside.

After selecting the mode, you can personalise each one by selecting 

Option

:

· Alert type (sound only, vibrate only or vibrate and ring)

· Type of ringtone (Repeat, ascending, beep once)

· Incoming call (ringtone)

· Ringtone volume

· SMS vol.

· Audible keyboard (Silent, Clicking, Sound, Human voice)

· Volume Key

· Ringtone On

· Ringtone Off

· System Alert (On/Off) 

Pressing the # key, changes the mode to 

Meeting.

4.SPEED DIAL

M1/M2 KEY: Allows you to call pre-assigned contacts by pressing M1 and M2.

Status: 

The default status is ON. Press 

Accept

 to change it.

Number:

 Press 

Accept

 to input the numbers M1 and M2. 

KEYS 2-9: You can set the status (on/off) and assign a contact to each number 

(from 2 to 9). Once you’ve done this, when you dial these numbers, the phone 

will call the relevant assigned contact.

Status: 

The default status is OFF. Press 

Accept

 to change it. 

Number: 

Press 

Edit

 to select to the contact from the list of Contacts and press 

Accept

 to confirm.

5. LOCK MODE

Scroll to choose the feature that you want to disable and press 

Accept

The disabled feature will disappear from the main menu. 

6.CHANGE PRESET KEY SETTINGS

UPPER KEY: The upper key is by default for the Messages menu.  It can be 

changed to cover 

Contacts, Calls, Calendar, Camera, Multimedia, Contact 

Photo, FM Radio or Bluetooth.

LOWER KEY: The lower key is by default for the Contact Photo menu.  It can be 

changed to cover 

Contacts, Calls, Calendar, Camera, Multimedia, Messages, 

FM Radio or Bluetooth.

7.NETWORK

NETWORK SELECTION: You can look for and select a network manually, as well 

as changing the network selection method (automatic/manual).

8. SECURITY

SIM SECURITY: You can use this menu to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE the Pin Lock 

and change the PIN code.

TELEPHONE SECURITY:

 

You can use this menu to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE the 

handset lock and change the passcode.  The default passcode for the handset is 

“0000”. 

AUTO-LOCK: Allows you to choose the amount of time that elapses before the 

handset locks automatically. 

9. RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS

Restores factory settings on the handset.  The default passcode for the handset 

is “0000”. 

Press Menu and scroll to MULTIMEDIA.

1. FM RADIO

Use the 

up/down arrows

 to select to the channel and the */# keys to adjust the 

volume. 

Press the 

Hang up 

key to return to sleep mode.  The radio will stay on. 

Press 0 to switch the FM radio on/off. 

Pressing

 allows you to

 the radio stations (Name and frequency), 

and 

Save

 them, or press 

Dial

 to input a frequency manually.  You can also do an 

Auto-Search

 and save the frequencies

to listen to them later.

2. CAMERA

Press the

 key to take a photo.

Warning! If the capacity of the memory card is insufficient, delete a document 

or increase memory card capacity. 

3. SOUND RECORDER

*You need to insert a memory card in the handset before using this function. 

a)To start a new voice recording press

” to stop and save the recording.

c)If you wish to cancel a recording without saving it, press the

*Use a 240x320 pixel image to optimise display.

4.CONTACT SETTINGS

FAVORITES : Choose whether new contacts will be saved by default on the SIM 

card, on the mobile handset or in the location specified each time a new contact 

is added (both). 

STORAGE : Allows you to check how many contacts are saved on the SIM card 

and on the handset.

COPY CONTACTS: Copies contacts to the SIM card or to the handset.  MOVE 

CONTACTS: Moves contacts to the SIM card or to the handset.  

DELETE ALL: Deletes all contacts from the SIM card or the handset. 

INSTALLING THE SIM CARD: 

Insert the SIM card in to the SIM card 

compartment above the memory card slot (ensure that the side of the card 

containing the metal contacts

is facing inwards).

Switch off the mobile before removing the SIM card. *Use of MicroSIM cards 

with an adaptor is not recommended.

INSERTING THE BATTERY: 

Remove the battery cover, insert the battery into the 

battery compartment and replace the cover.

The first time you use the handset please drain the battery completely and then 

charge it for 4 hours to optimise battery life.
