Box contents: 1 light-up globe, 1 globe base made of plastic and/or wood. 

• The light-up globe is not a toy. Children should only use it under adult supervision.

• Ensure that it is in a stable position, and cannot slip or fall.

• If the power cable is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or a qualified 

 professional.

• If the globe does not light up or only lights up intermittently, please check that the lamp 

  is correctly screwed into the socket as per the instructions for changing the bulb.

• Never pull the cable to disconnect the plug from the power socket.

• Never suspend anything over the globe when it is illuminated.

• Please retain these instructions for further reference.

Disconnect the plug from the power socket. 

Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any alcohol or solvents, as these could 

damage the globe.

Screw the meridian to the globe base as per Figures A and B. If the globe is equipped with a 

plastic meridian and a wooden base: 

The globe is compatible with the following lamps: Halogen bulb or LED bulb.

If the lamp must be replaced, only use bulbs with the following properties: Halogen or LED 

bulb with E14 socket, voltage 220-240 V~, 50/60 Hz.

• Disconnect the plug from the power socket. Wait a few minutes until the globe has 

 cooled.

• If the globe has a plastic meridian:

   Carefully pull the meridian upwards until the meridian pin comes out of the globe at the 

  North Pole (Fig. K1). Now you can tilt the globe forward and lift it from the hole at the 

  South Pole (Fig. K2). Attention: do not scrape the meridian pin over the globe.

• Now you can change the lamp as per Fig. K3

• Then reassemble the globe by following the illustrations in reverse order.

Insert the screw from the 

bottom through the 

wooden base and conical 

spacer, and screw into the 

thread of the meridian.

corresponding disposal or recycling site for electrical appliances (e.g. a recycling centre). The separate 

collection and recycling of your old electrical appliances at the time of disposal helps to protect the 
environment and guarantees a method of recycling that does not pose any risk to human health and the 
environment. Further information about where you can recycle old electrical appliances can be obtained from 
your local authorities, recycling centres or from the appliance retailer.
