INTRODUCTION
This kettle is intended for boiling water. This water can later be used to brew coffee, make tea or
other foods. The kettle is suitable for heating up water only.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use read this instruction manual carefully.

Prior to using the device, check if the mains voltage complies with the data on the rating plate.
3.
The device is suitable for private use only.
4.
Should you discover any damages of the power cord, immediately disconnect current supply
of the socket and carefully unplug the device. Have the power cord or the power plug
replaced by a qualified specialist.
Do not try to repair the device – risk of fire and electric
shock!
5.
In the event of damage, do not open the device. Have it repaired by a qualified specialist.
6.
Make sure that the cord does not come in contact with sharp edges or is bent. Do not use the
device if the power cord or power plug is visibly damaged.
7.
Make sure that it is impossible to trip over the cord.
8.
Always disconnect the power plug from the socket if you do not use it or before cleaning. If
there are any malfunctions during use, disconnect the power plug immediately.
9.
Do not immerse the device, the base, the cord or the plug in water. Do not operate the device
with wet hands.
10. Place the device out of the reach of children. Do not let children use electric devices without
supervision.
11. Place and operate the device on a flat, level surface.
12. Do not place the device in the vicinity of hot surfaces or gas flames (cooker).
13. The device must not be used if it is visibly damaged or has been dropped.
14. When disconnecting the device from the socket, pull by the plug, not the cord.
15. If you pass the device on to a third party, please attach this instruction manual as well. That
is why you should store this manual in a safe place.
16. The manufacturer is not responsible for possible damages resulting from improper use.
17. The device is intended for indoor use only.
SAFETY ADVICE

Use the device for the intended purpose only. Liquids other than water must not be boiled.
•
Before using the device make sure that the lid and the filter are firmly attached.
•
Fill in water only after removing the kettle from the base.
•
Do not fill in water when the kettle is switched on!
•
The base, power cord and plug must not come in contact with water. Should this be the case,
disconnect the power plug immediately and wipe all the wet elements dry.
•
Do not come too close to the kettle while in use. Hot steam poses a risk of burns.
•
Make sure that the marking MINIMUM (MIN, 0,5L) is exceeded and the marking MAXIMUM
(MAX, 1,7L) is not exceeded. Before first use make sure you know where both markings are.
If too much water has been filled, it can splash and lead to burns!
•
Always wait until the boiling process is finished by an automatic turn-off. Do not remove the
kettle from the base before it is switched off.
•
Do not switch the kettle on without water!
•
Base and kettle constitute one unit. Do not try to use the kettle with another base or the base
with other devices. The manufacturer is not responsible for resulting damages.
•
Do not use the device in areas with explosive materials or flammable gases.
•
If the device is used on wooden surfaces, it is recommended to use a fireproof pad in order
to avoid damages.
•
Steam can also cause damages. Place the spout in the correct direction.
•
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or by those who lack experience and knowledge, unless they
are supervised or have been given instructions concerning the use of the device by a person
