Recently printed paper tends
to stick together.

The separator and paper
feed rollers are dirty or worn.

There is insufficient paper
stacked up on the paper
feed table.
Do not fold any recently
copied or recently printed
paper. Thoroughly fan out the
stack of paper.
Clean or replace the separator
and the paper feed rollers.
(Order no. 8330 001).
Add paper, at least 20 sheets
or more.
The device will not start,
despite pressing the
START/STOP button.
A
Paper jam within the unit.
Take out both fold plates and
remove the jammed paper.
The folded paper is
crumpled.

Recently printed paper tends

The separator and paper
feed rollers are dirty or worn.

The fold plates are not
inserted correctly

Paper jam in the top or
bottom fold plate.
Do not fold any recently
copied or recently printed
paper. Thoroughly fan out the

Measure the paper length and
carry out fine-tuning (using
the adjustment knob, see
Pages 46 - 47).
Printed, very thin paper is
not being folded.

Low room temperature.
Clean the separator and paper
feed rollers.
Paper should be left in the
room for a while before it is
folded. A room temperature
below 12 °C is not
recommended.
