Status Indication
The Protege Temperature and Humidity Sensor includes diagnostic indicators that can aid the installer in
diagnosing faults and conditions. In some cases an indicator may have multiple meanings depending on the
indicator display at the time.
7.1
Power Indicator
The Power Indicator is located at the top right and indicates the Status of the Protege Temperature and Humidity
Sensor. If the Sensor is operating normally, the indicator will remain steadily illuminated. Flashing rapidly at
250ms intervals indicates that the Sensor is attempting to register with the Protege Integrated System Controller,
or that communication has failed and it is retrying the request.
Power LED Location
If the Power Indicator LED is not steadily ON then there is a fault condition. Refer to Error Code
Indication (see page 17) for further details.
