9. Dismounting, return and disposal

9.1 Dismounting
DANGER!
Live parts
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger to life.

Disassembly only by skilled electrical personnel.
▶
Before any work, disconnect the instrument from the mains.
1. Disconnect the emission monitor from the mains.
2. Open the terminal box.
3. Disconnect electrical connections.
4. Loosen the cable glands.
5. Pull cable out through cable gland.
6. Pull off the hose connections.
7. Tighten the cable glands hand-tight.
8. Loosen threaded connections to the wall.
9. Take the emission monitor down.
10. Close the terminal box.
9.2 Return
Strictly observe the following when shipping the instrument:
All instruments delivered to WIKA must be free from any kind of hazardous substances
(acids, bases, solutions, etc.) and must therefore be cleaned before being returned.
When returning the instrument, use the original packaging or a suitable transport
packaging.
To avoid damage:

Place shock-absorbent material evenly on all sides of the instrument in the transport
packaging.
