2.4 Hardware Installation
Warning:
Static electricity can easily damage computer equipment.
Ground yourself by touching the chassis of the computer before touching
any boards.
To install your VXC series cards, complete the following steps:
1. Turn off your computer
2. Remove all covers from the computer
3. Select an unused PCI slot
4. Remove the PCI slot cover from the PC
5. Carefully insert your VXC card into the PCI slot, and attach the cable to the
connector
6. Replace the PC cover
7. Turn on your PC and refer to Chapter 3 for information regarding software
installation
