4.2. Charger
Use
Charging stages
The red charging light is on during charging.
Stop charging after the green light turns on in summer; continue to charge it for 3 - 4 hours after
the green light turns on in winter.
Bad charging habits lead to battery damage, such as extended charging, charging immediately
after driving and charging in high temperature environments.
It is strictly forbidden to load the vehicle immediately after driving. Instead it should be charged
after the natural cooling of the surface temperature of the battery (proposed 30 minutes).
The total charging time must not exceed 12 hours. If the green light does not come on after more
than 12 hours of charging, stop charging immediately and send the charger to the service center
for repair.
When the battery is charging in the electric vehicle, please turn off the vehicle’s main power supply.
After inserting the charger output plug into the vehicle’s charging socket, insert the input plug into
the 220 V power socket (the charging indicator is on).
Disconnect the plug from the 220 V power outlet after charging (the green
charging lamp is on), then disconnect the charger output plug. The order
cannot be reversed.
The charger must be completely disconnected from the charging socket
after charging, otherwise the vehicle cannot start.
In light of the heat generation of the charger being charged, it is necessary to maintain
good ventilation and heat dissipation. Batteries and chargers are prohibited to cover
other items or to be charged near flammable and explosive hazardous goods, resulting
in an explosion or fire and even injury.
During charging, the charger and battery must be placed in a safe and stable
place where children cannot touch and fall. Do not place the charger on the
vehicle seat during charging due to bad heat dissipation with consequent
accidents.
During charging, the charger has high voltage current.
It is strictly forbidden to touch and disassemble the charger to avoid
electric shock.
Recharge indoors instead of outdoors so as not to cause short circuit
accidents due to rain and other factors. It is forbidden to charge in case of
rain, strong sun exposure, source of fire or high temperature environment.
